ABOUT OUR INSTITUTE

Saina Institute of Medical Sciences ( SIMS) is a Group of Institution, established in the year 2013 under the Society “The Kangleipak Rural Area Development Organization Manipur” with Regd.no.347/Imphal of 1986 dated 17th April,1986, Govt. of Manipur. Saina Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) got “No Objection Certificate” from the Govt. of Manipur, Director of Health Services Govt. of Manipur , Lamphel, Imphal West. Under the Guidance of Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, Manipur Nursing council has conducted inspection and has given approval of 30 seats for the academic session 2018-2019 from Director of Health Services Govt. of Manipur , Lamphel, Imphal West. SIMS Approved by: Health Department Government of Manipur, Manipur Pollution Control Board, Govt. of Manipur and Bharat Sevak Samaj. Bharat Sevak Samaj is the National Development Agency, Established in 1952, by Planning Commission, Government of India to ensure public cooperation for implementing Government plans. The main purpose behind the formulation of Bharat Sevak Samaj is to initiate a nationwide, non official and non political organization with the object of enabling individual citizen to contribute, in the form of National Development Plan. The constitution and functioning of Bharat SevakSamaj is approved unanimously by the Indian Parliament. SIMS is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences, (JNIMS HOSPITAL) vide letter No. 1208/13 (Clinical exp./Nur)12-JNH/JNIMS ,Government of Manipur.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVE OF SIMS

1. To establish a model national level class Nursing and Paramedical Training Institution in the state to provide opportunities to poor, talented, and ambitious students to help their dreams come true.

2. To impact integrated, comprehensive scientific knowledge to each student in the field of modern medical sciences and Nursing Profession to provide a well qualified Nurses and Paramedical workers, ensuring affordable and quality healthcare services for the common people at their doorsteps.

3. SIMS is committed to preserving the ethics of the medical and nursing professions with utmost respect for human life from conception.

4. Our Institute shall not be limited to training alone. We are also committed to carrying out other social activities such as social service and free medical camps in the interest of the common people.

5. Our institute shall focus on researching and updating of the latest techniques of nursing and paramedical training to find solutions to meet the challenges posed by emerging diseases and evolving treatment protocols.
